About This Event

Musica Manent was founded in 2017 with the aim of promoting and showcasing classical music on Ustica Island. The event seeks to offer a cultural experience that combines artistic excellence, musical depth, and the enhancement of the local territory. After its initial editions in 2017 and 2018, the Festival returns in 2026 with a renewed format, confirming its commitment to enriching the island's cultural offerings through high-profile artistic events. Organized by Pro Loco Ustica, the Festival will take place from August 20th to 22nd, 2026, and will feature three evenings dedicated to the piano, entrusted to performers of recognized prestige in the national and international concert scene. The name «Musica Manent» evokes the enduring value of musical art, capable of leaving a lasting impression on individual and collective memory, transcending the ephemeral dimension of an event to become a shared cultural heritage.

Music by Schubert, Rossini. ALBERTO CHINES, a pianist from Palermo, trained at the Imola Piano Academy (F. Scala, P. Rattalino) and the "Claudio Monteverdi" Conservatory (D. Cabassi). Winner of the "Palma d'Oro" International Piano Competition (2011), the Sony Classical Talent Scout (2013), and second prize at the Euregio Piano Award (2014). He has performed, among others, at the Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna and the Van Cliburn Recital Hall in Fort Worth (Texas). Steinway Artist since 2020; creator of the Musica Manent Festival.

Music by Bellini, Verdi, Liszt. EMANUEL RIMOLDI, an Italian-Romanian pianist, trained at the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory in Milan and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow (E. Virsaladze). Winner of the Top of the World International Piano Competition in Tromsø and the Grand Prix of the Manhattan Music Competition – Ivo Pogorelich Prize. He has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall in London, and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg; professor at the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo.

A leading figure in the rediscovery of female composers' repertoire, she combines her concert career with work as a music journalist and promoter of female empowerment (Young Women Network). Deputy Artistic Director of PianoLab Festival and Musica Manent 2026.

MUSICA MANENT 2026

Musica Manent nasce nel 2017 con l’obiettivo di promuovere e valorizzare la musica classica sull’Isola di Ustica. La manifestazione si propone di offrire un’esperienza culturale capace di coniugare eccellenza artistica, approfondimento musicale e valorizzazione del territorio. Dopo le prime edizioni del 2017 e del 2018, il Festival torna nel 2026 con una formula rinnovata, confermando la volontà di arricchire l’offerta culturale dell’isola attraverso appuntamenti di alto profilo artistico. Organizzato dalla Pro Loco Ustica, il Festival si svolgerà dal 20 al 22 agosto 2026 e proporrà tre serate dedicate al pianoforte, affidate a interpreti di riconosciuto prestigio nel panorama concertistico nazionale e internazionale. Il nome «Musica Manent» richiama il valore permanente dell’arte musicale, capace di lasciare una traccia duratura nella memoria individuale e collettiva, superando la dimensione effimera dell’evento per trasformarsi in patrimonio culturale condiviso.
